“God created you for connection and so often we find ourselves disconnected in so many ways: with ourselves, with God and with others. When this happens, you are not alone. There is a path back to connection, a path back to being fully known and fully loved. And this isn't just for certain people, this is for everyone, including you.” - Lindsey

Lindsey Castleman is passionate about transformation in relationships and because of this she very much leans in to the 'why' behind the way we show up in relationships. Uncovering the why is essential to transformation, otherwise it is just behavior change and that only lasts for so long. Lindsey has also experienced the benefits of therapy in her own life and marriage and wants to pass that experience along to others. Lindsey has been married to her high school sweetheart for 18 years and they have an 8 year old son and a dog.

Accepting New Clients

"Hi! I am so glad you are here. It is the true joy of my heart to be with those walking towards living a mentally healthy life. I look forward to partnering with you to foster hope regardless of your circumstances and believe that we are all created for connection through relationships."

Prior to counseling, I spent ten years as an executive recruiter.  While in my career, I found myself walking alongside individuals within a career transition. I would be able to offer career guidance but desired to offer them something much more and connect with them in a deeper way. God called me to go back to school and pursue counseling. I hold a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am passionate about walking with couples and individuals to get the healing they need, to help put words around their experiences and feelings, and to be with people. I believe we are all created for connection and healing is done within the context of safe and secure relationships.

I have been in the Middle Tennessee area for the past 28 years and love calling it home. I have experienced the benefit of therapy in my life and marriage and hope to pass that benefit along to others. I approach therapy with compassion, expertise, hope, and transformation.

Rob Wheeler, LPC (temp)

Accepting New Clients

Have you been wounded? Many wounds occurred through relationships, and it is through relationship where they can be restored. Though not easy, many of those I work with begin to take risks, experience more meaningful relationships, and even a greater sense of joy in life.

Real change is possible and I'd love to walk that path with you. It's through my experiences, including my own individual and marriage counseling, that I've found many of my resources and orientation toward others. As a client, I was helped in my own journey through Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR.

In our time together you will have a safe and confidential space to explore your concerns together. Relational pain, anxiety, and unwanted compulsions are not something we can fix in the privacy of our mental processes. It’s the people we love the most who can make us feel the gladdest… and the maddest! Love and anger are such puzzles.”

– Mr. Rogers

“When we taste the goodness of God in the land of the living it can be disruptive.”

-Dan Allender

Through depression, betrayal, and other dark places in my story, I thought I had nowhere to turn. The counseling process helped to point me back to a new perspective of my history which imparted a deeper understanding of myself. This process then assisted in restoring some of my closest relationships. My hope is to be a conduit in others’ lives to bring understanding, healing, and hope to marriages, families, and individuals so that we can function well as communities.

In my work over the years with children and their families, owning a business, and having children of my own, I’ve developed a passion for people and how we relate to one another.

This work paired with the struggles and experiences in my own story, has created a desire to come alongside others who are searching for healing, growth, and understanding in their own life. It is an honor to begin this process with you.

Who she sees: Couples, Individuals, Families

What she helps with: relationships, depression, anxiety, transitions and chronic illness

Hourly rate: $135 with sliding scale available
